The company was founded in 1991 and currently employs over 250 real estate professionals.
Latio has 33 subsidiaries in the entire territory of Latvia: Riga, Jūrmala and in the biggest cities of all Latvian districts, as well as in Tallinn - the capital city of Estonia.
Latio is an associate member of the associations LANĪDA (Latvian Real Estate Association) and LĪVA (Latvian Association of Property Appraisers). On an international level, Latio is a member of the following associations: TEGoVA, IVSC, FIABCI, CEPI, NAR.

Metrum – a new development direction
At the end of 2004, Metrum – a daughter company of Latio – specialising in land surveying and territory planning was established. Currently, when implementing the „one stop agency” principle, Latio and Metrum offices in Latvia are united and established as a single service centre, offering clients the possibility of receiving complex services from both companies at once.
