„Latio” received a prize

On Friday in final stage of the competition “Baltic Brand Formula” “Latio” won the first prize in the competition of national trade mark in the sphere of real properties, leaving “Ober-Haus” in the second place and “Arco Real Estate” in the third. This competition takes place for the forth time and is a unique event in the Baltic States, where the most successful projects of trade mark development are evaluated and awarded.
The aim of the competition is to motivate the businessmen of the Baltic States to create and develop strong trade marks, thus increasing their competitiveness in local as well as in the integrated market of the European Union.
The competition is not evaluating the forms of communications, but the achieved results – the value of the trade mark in a particular moment, and the participants of the competition are the owners of the trade marks, those who are defining the values of the trade mark and its direction of the development.
This year for the first time the strongest trade marks in 20 groups of products were nominated.
The trade marks are evaluated by a commission of experts as well as by consumers. In the total evaluation the opinion of the experts weights 30%, the research of the opinion of the consumers – 70%.
In the competition of this year as the strongest international trade mark in Latvia was recognized “Hansabank Swedbank”, as the strongest national trade mark – “Laima”.
